Application Form

Thank you for your interest in the Estate Planning Council! 

We welcome new members in four different categories.

  1. Regular Membership Applicants must hold at least one of the approved professional certification(s) or degree(s)* and certify that they are in good standing with the governing board or organization that monitors maintaining said certification or degree. They must also be sponsored by a current EPCLV member and have completed a minimum of 2 years of estate planning work.
    Dues are $250/year.  
  2. Associate Membership Applicants are not required to hold one of the certifications/designations listed above but must be sponsored by two current EPCLV regular members and have completed a minimum of 2 years of estate planning work.
    Dues are $250/year.
  3. Student Membership Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university (including undergraduate, law school, or graduate school) in a field of study closely aligned with the designations above. They should have attended at least one Council outreach event or a general membership meeting within one year of application. A Student Member who graduates with a degree may become an Associate Member of the Council for the following fiscal year and up to five years thereafter.
    Dues are $25/year. 
  4. Retired Membership Applicants must have been in good standing as an EPCLV member at the time of their retirement and do not require a sponsored application. They are not eligible for CE Credit.
    Dues are $75.00/year.

  • Master of Laws

  • Accredited Estate Planner

Estate Planning Council of the Lehigh Valley is affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils and joining can fulfill the requirement of belonging to an affiliated local estate planning council to become an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designee. Please contact the national office at 866-226-2224 to learn more about the Accredited Estate Planner® designation.
