Digital assets are rapidly reshaping the estate planning landscape, presenting both opportunities and complex challenges for practitioners. This program offers a practical framework for identifying, valuing, safeguarding, and transferring a wide range of digital assets—from cryptocurrencies and online investment accounts to social media profiles and digital mining operations. 

Participants will gain a working understanding of blockchain technology and
its expanding role in commerce, along with the knowledge needed to advise clients on key legal, tax, regulatory, and privacy considerations. Through focused discussion and real-world insights, attendees will explore valuation
strategies for volatile assets, fiduciary responsibilities, and best practices for security and documentation. 

The program will also address the unique administration challenges associated with this evolving asset class and is desinged to provide estate planning professionals with clear, actionable tools and greater confidence in navigating the rapidly changing digital environment while helping clients effectively preserve and transfer digital wealth.
