Program Description
Ryo Tashiro, an economist from the Federal Reserve, will be giving a general overview of the economy. He will be addressing a few key questions, including:

• What is the general outlook of the economy?

• How has the labor market performed?

• What is going on with inflation, and how does it impact monetary policy?

Learning objectives:

1.           Use data to discuss macroeconomic trends

2.           Identify challenges in the economy

3.           Link macroeconomic trends with monetary policy actions
